JoJo - Adult home

Meet JoJo, a handsome 9-year-old black and white Cavalier mix who is ready to find his forever home! JoJo came to us after his previous owner could no longer keep him. He had a challenging start, but with time, patience, and consistent correction, he has made tremendous progress. He's a sweet, goofy boy who enjoys a good game of fetch and his mealtimes.

Ideal Home

JoJo would thrive in a calm, adult-only home with an experienced owner who is willing to work with him and provide consistent leadership. He needs a fenced yard and would do best with a small, dog-social pal. He prefers a home with few visitors and limited distractions. JoJo does not do well with children or grandchildren, and due to his history, he is not suited for senior owners, preferring an owner 50 years old or younger. He also cannot live in a home with Pitt Bulls, but he can coexist with other dogs, though he doesn't play with them. A female groomer is preferred.

Ongoing Health

JoJo is up-to-date on all vaccinations and has been neutered.

Training & Support

JoJo is crate trained and mostly house-trained. He needs an owner who will listen to our suggestions and continue the work we've done to ensure his continued success. He can be a bit jealous at times and does not like going outside when it rains.

JoJo is located with his foster family. Transportation may be discussed once an application is approved.
