Nala is a 6-year-old, spayed female Rottweiler mix who weighs around 46 pounds. She's a sweet, gentle, and well-mannered companion who settles into family life with ease. Nala has an easygoing personality and a heart full of love to give. She enjoys playing with other dogs, including smaller ones, and is respectful during interactions. She's also a dream on walks, showing excellent leash manners and no reactivity. Nala has lived with children as young as 5 years old and is described as incredibly gentle, patient, and loving with them. She's fully house-trained, does well in her crate, and may bark or cry for a few minutes when initially left alone, but settles quickly. Nala is smart, eager to please, and knows several commands. She loves playing with balls, going for car rides, and has no trouble with stairs. Her foster has not even heard her bark! Nala walks beautifully on a harness and is simply an easy dog to have by your side.
Ideal Home
Nala would thrive in a home with a moderate activity level where she can enjoy a daily walk and plenty of time with her people. She would likely enjoy having another friendly dog in the home, but it's not required.

Nala is up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed.
Training & Support
Nala is house-trained and crate-trained. While she may show mild separation anxiety by crying for a few minutes when first crated or left alone, she settles down quickly and this is expected to improve with a consistent routine. She is eager to please and responds well to verbal cues.

Nala is currently located in Houston, Texas. She can be transported once an adopter is approved. Transport is included in the adoption donation.
