Peter Pan is a 9-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, currently weighing about 3 pounds, with an estimated DOB of March 2026. He was found abandoned on the streets of Houston with eight other puppies and is now in a foster home in Austin, Texas. Peter Pan is a charming and curious little explorer, who enjoys playful adventures with his siblings and loves a good game of tug-of-war. He also cherishes cozy naps and offers a sweet, thoughtful presence.
Ideal Home
Peter Pan will thrive in a home committed to helping him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. He is expected to do well with children, cats, and other dogs, provided introductions are done appropriately. Due to his small size, any resident pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions must be supervised. Homes with a person present most of the time are ideal, as puppies cannot be left alone for extended periods. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, a second adult must be available to care for him during the day.
Ongoing Health
There are no specific ongoing health concerns mentioned for Peter Pan at this time. As a young puppy, he will require all age-appropriate veterinary care, vaccinations, and preventative treatments.
Training & Support
Peter Pan is currently working on potty training and crate training. His new family should be prepared to continue consistent training with positive reinforcement and patience. Puppies need structure, routine, and supervision to thrive.
