Toffee is a delightful 9-month-old, 40 lb mixed breed, likely with some Vizsla in her lineage, blessed with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul. She's a happy, playful, and affectionate girl at home, who loves to romp with her canine companions, play hard, and then settle in for some cozy cuddle time. Toffee is friendly with both dogs and cats, is house and crate trained, and truly thrives in a stable home environment with a consistent routine. While she can be a bit timid in new environments, a testament to her sensitive nature, she has made incredible progress with encouragement and patience. She's learning to embrace the adventures the outside world has to offer, and with continued support, her confidence will blossom.
Ideal Home
Toffee would thrive in a home with a confident, well-adjusted adult dog who can be a positive role model. A patient and understanding family willing to continue building her confidence is essential. She would do best in a home with children aged 10 and older who are dog-savvy, and without infants or toddlers. Please note, while Toffee is friendly with other dogs, she is uncomfortable around small dogs or puppies, so a home without them is preferred.
Ongoing Health
Toffee experienced car sickness and drooled during travel, but this has significantly improved with desensitization work. She now willingly enters the car, understanding it often leads to adventure. She recovers quickly upon arrival at her destination.
Training & Support
Toffee is house and crate trained. While she's gaining confidence in new environments, continued patience and encouragement will be key to her ongoing development. She is learning to love car rides and associates them with positive experiences.
