But once the excitement dies down, she's happiest curling up by your side, proving she's also a professional cuddle companion.
Hassie's journey began in a North Texas shelter where she was running out of time before a rescue stepped in to give her a much-deserved second chance. She's a smart, loyal, and loving dog who enjoys accompanying her people on hikes, road trips, or casual patio lunches.
Ideal Home
Hassie would thrive in a home with older children or adults who understand and appreciate the unique traits of her breed, including her natural herding instincts. She can be a bit too enthusiastic about organizing fast-moving children. A cat-free home is a must, as Hassie is not a fan of felines.
Ongoing Health
Hassie is a healthy dog who has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Hassie is crate-trained and potty-trained. While generally well-behaved, she may need gentle guidance to manage her herding instincts, particularly around younger children.
