Hi, I'm Mochaccino! I'm a 12-month-old, 49 lb CoonHound mix with a docile soul and a calm presence. My heart is very attached to people, and I dream of having a human of my own to quietly follow through everyday life. I'm human-oriented and while other dogs are fine, my priority is my human and my toys! My energy is low to medium; I'm happy to follow you around or stay alone while you work, without needing constant entertainment. I'm crate trained, house trained, and not destructive. I know how to settle, I ride well in the car, and I don't have the big hound bark! I may bark to alert you to a visitor or distant gardeners, but I'm more of a cautious observer than a troublemaker. I'm very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding! I'm cautious but not aggressive with cats. With kids, I'd likely do well as a gentle boy, but older, respectful children would be the most thoughtful match. I'm okay with other dogs, but I'd rather be someone's steady companion than the life of the dog party. I'm up to date on my vaccinations and ready for a home that appreciates a loyal, low-key dog who loves deeply without needing to be loud or demanding. My story started in Texas, where I came from an unwanted litter. I'm safe now, loved now, and ready for the part of my life where I get to be someone's chosen companion.
Ideal Home
My ideal home would be with a human who wants a calm companion dog – someone who likes having a furry shadow nearby, a quiet friend during work-from-home hours, a peaceful car-ride buddy, and a sweet presence at the end of the day. I picture soft routines, cozy evenings, snowy morning walks, calm weekends, and the simple happiness of knowing exactly where I belong. I'm not looking for just any home; I'm looking for the right match – someone who sees my quiet loyalty, my calm nature, my human-focused heart, and understands that I'm not trying to impress everyone. I'm trying to love my person well.
