Donnie

Donnie is a sweet, approximately 13-week-old male Lab mix with a lot of love to give! He's currently in Puerto Rico and dreaming of a forever home in the DC area. Donnie and his siblings are looking for a family to call their own, where they can play with toys, get their zoomies out, and enjoy plenty of snuggles. He's eager to explore his new neighborhood on walks and make new doggie friends along the way.

Ideal Home

Donnie is looking for an active home that will allow him plenty of playtime and opportunities to explore. He's at a prime age for socialization and will do well with other dogs, cats, and children with proper introductions and training. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements for multiple potty breaks and exercise sessions throughout the day, as puppies under 6 months require consistent attention.

Ongoing Health

Donnie has received age-appropriate vaccines. However, it is the adopter's responsibility to ensure he completes his remaining puppy vaccination series at the appropriate times. Until fully vaccinated, he will be at a greater risk for illness than an adult dog.

Training & Support

Donnie will need to work on his house training and attend puppy obedience classes to help him grow into a well-socialized and well-behaved companion.
