Chase is a sweet, sensitive soul who needs a home filled with patience, kindness, and slow, reassuring hands as he continues learning how to trust and how to be a dog. He came to us with his siblings after being found locked in a cage on the side of the road. Born around 12/15/24, this mixed-breed pup, possibly part Border Collie, arrived very malnourished and unsure of the world. Thanks to good care and lots of love, Chase has made an incredible transformation and is now a healthy, full-grown 50 pounds and absolutely handsome! He spent time on our puppy foster farm, where he was exposed to farm animals big and small, dogs of all ages and sizes, and even cats. Because he was such a shy boy, Chase came to the WAG kennels to help build confidence through more socialization. Since arriving, Chase has slowly come out of his shell and has captured the hearts of our volunteers and fellow WAG pups alike. We love that he is gentle, kind, and incredibly sweet. He walks nicely on leash and is doing great with simple commands. He is 50 pounds and fully grown, the perfect medium-sized companion, and is making steady, beautiful progress every day. Chase doesn't need a loud or chaotic home - he needs a calm, loving environment where he can continue to grow into the amazing dog we know he's meant to be. In return, he'll offer quiet loyalty, soft tail wags, and a heart full of gratitude. Chase is ready for his forever home.
