Shaggy

Meet Shaggy, a sweet and playful boy who's looking for a second chance at a happy life. He arrived at our shelter after his beloved owner in San José sadly passed away, leaving him and his companions, Paloma and Scooby, without a home. Understandably, Shaggy is a bit cautious right now, but he's trying his best to trust again. He's a medium-sized dog with a thick coat, which means he needs a cooler environment and Mexico's heat is just too much for him. Shaggy has been neutered and is ready to find a calm, loving home where he can heal from his loss and feel safe once more.

Shaggy needs a calm and loving environment where he can feel safe and begin to trust again. He requires a cooler climate, as Mexico is too hot for him.

Shaggy is understandably cautious due to his recent loss, but he is trying his best to trust again. He will benefit from a patient and understanding adopter who can help him feel secure.

Transporation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new pup at the airport. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
