About Dahlia Daisy Flower the MINI Lab

Fostered in Marysville, WA, Dahlia Daisy Flower is a delightful 10-month-old "itty bitty labbie pittie" who is as sweet as she is beautiful. Currently weighing in at 35 pounds, she's expected to reach a maximum of 40-45 pounds. Dahlia is a morning person, eager to start her day with a potty break and some backyard zoomies before embarking on a brisk walk. Her leash skills are excellent, though squirrels can occasionally test her focus! She absolutely adores exploring trails and parks, making friends with everyone she meets, both human and canine. Dahlia is a true water enthusiast and would make a fantastic camping companion. During work hours, she's content to snooze by your side, punctuated by energetic zoomie breaks with the other four dogs in her foster home. She cohabitates harmoniously with two small female dogs, one medium male, and one large female, though smaller dogs in her new home should be comfortable asserting their boundaries. Dahlia’s favorite pastimes include tossing and chasing pine cones and proudly carrying around big sticks.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would thrive in an active home that can provide at least two walks per day. She would be happiest with another playful dog or the opportunity for regular doggy daycare. While she could do well in a dog-friendly apartment or condo with sufficient exercise, adopters with shared walls should consider her vocalization when initially left alone in her crate. She has not been tested with cats, but we believe she would do very well with respectful children aged 8 and up.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is a healthy pup who has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Dahlia is crate and house-trained. She may cry in her crate initially when left alone, but she does settle. This is something that will need to be re-established in her new home. She is working on her ability to settle at night in her crate, and eventually, she would love to share the bed with her humans.
