Igby enjoys the company of his canine pal, a male pit bull, with whom he shares a mellow, easygoing play style. He's a social butterfly when it comes to his furry friends and loves to keep the peace.
Igby’s energy levels shift when he’s with his favorite humans! He’s ready for active play and enthusiastic greetings, making every reunion a joyous occasion. Inside, Igby can be a bit unpredictable – sometimes he’s a couch potato, other times he’s ready for action. But when it’s time to wind down, Igby is a pro! He’s crate-trained and settles in like a champ, making him a wonderful companion for those who appreciate a dog with a good routine.
Igby is eager to explore the world and tends to pull on the leash, his curiosity leading the way. He knows the "come" command and is always motivated to learn more with tasty treats and a little extra attention. While Igby might not be the biggest fan of sloppy kisses or belly rubs, his affection is evident in his constant desire for human companionship. He truly is a people-dog, thriving on interaction and always aiming to please.
When Igby gets to explore the great outdoors, he’s in his element, sniffing out new scents and investigating every inch of the yard. After a good play session, he's content to relax and unwind, ready to chill after his adventures.
Ideal Home
Igby would do best in a home where he can enjoy a balance of active play and quiet relaxation. Because he is recommended for homes with children 10 years and older, this may not be the best fit for a home with very young children.

Transportation
Igby is currently being fostered in Texas and can be transported to his forever home. Transports depart weekly.
