Journey

Journey is a handsome three-and-a-half-year-old, 45-50lb, neutered male husky with striking black and white markings. He was famously rescued from a hurricane in Houston, where he swam to shore in true husky fashion before being safely caught. That was a year and a half ago, and since then, Journey has discovered how wonderful a loving home and daily care can be! He's a smart, sweet boy who enjoys being part of his human's life and adventures. He travels well in the car and has a great love for water.

Ideal Home

Journey would thrive in a home with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person who will include him in their daily life and adventures. He is not suited for apartment living and absolutely NEEDS A FENCED YARD to run and play. He does not do well with tie-outs or electric fences. Journey plays well with most medium to large male and female dogs, though he has shown a preference against one specific red husky.

Ongoing Health

Journey is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is on monthly preventions. He has also been neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

Journey knows his basic commands but is not yet trained for off-leash situations.
