Hi there! I'm Jenny, a very pretty German Shepherd mix with topaz eyes and a gorgeous coat, mostly black with a white chest and brindle legs. I am about 2 years old and weigh 45 lbs. I was picked up as a stray and was facing a sad fate, but thankfully, a rescue decided to save my life. I am now spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, extremely grateful, and ready for a much better future!
I am a sweet, friendly, and energetic country girl who loves the outdoors, exploring, running, going for walks, and riding in a car or truck for any adventure. When the weather is hot, I'll be cooling off in a pool or just a big tub of water! I'm not fussy. I'm great with people and other dogs, not interested in cats, and I don't play with dog toys, but I love having my pretty coat brushed. My foster mom says I am very attentive to my people, curious, smart, and eager to please. When I'm free to roam and explore, a calm and peaceful energy comes over me – my happy place for sure! I am affectionate but not kissy. I don't dig or jump, and I'm not afraid of loud noises or thunderstorms. A crate or small enclosed space is not for me. Transporation
I am based in CT, but 4 Little Paws adopts in many different states along the East Coast, and transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
