Oliver

Oliver is an 11-month-old, 100-pound bundle of pure joy, enthusiasm, and a touch of clumsiness. He came to us as a puppy with significant vision issues, but thanks to life-changing surgery and dedicated care, Oliver can now see and is embracing the world with open arms! He's decided that everything and everyone is wonderful, making him a true friend to all.

Oliver adores people and dogs, and while he'd love to be friends with cats, his exuberance can be a bit overwhelming for our feline friends. He's a gentle giant, but his "love" is expressed with the enthusiasm of a teenager, and we're looking for a home where this won't be an issue for any resident cats.

Ideal Home

Oliver would be happiest in a home with another active and playful dog to be his best friend. He also needs a securely fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and explore his kingdom. This outstanding dog would also do well in a home with children over the age of 8.

Ongoing Health

Oliver has undergone surgery to correct detached retinas and other vision issues. He can now see, and his vision is functioning well.

Training & Support

Oliver is well-mannered in the house and a great traveler in the car. He's a social and affectionate companion who believes playtime is a full-time commitment. He's an excellent dog who will thrive with continued love and guidance.

Oliver is located at our rescue in the mountains of North Carolina. We do offer transport to approved adopters in the surrounding states.
