Rango

Rango is a truly special boy who has overcome so much! He came to us from a situation of neglect and cruelty, where he lived with many other dogs and suffered from wounds, malnourishment, and tick infestations. He was often found cowering in fear, clearly in pain. Once in our care, Rango began his journey of healing and decompression. Now, he's feeling much better and has blossomed into the most affectionate lap dog you could ever imagine! He absolutely adores meeting new people and showering them with love. Rango is patiently waiting for his forever home where he can truly thrive.

Ideal Home

Rango would do best as the only dog in the household, as he has experienced negative interactions with other dogs in the past and is happiest when he's the sole focus of human affection. He will thrive in a home with yard access that includes a baby pool, as he absolutely loves to cool off in the water! He can do well with mature, older children. Rango is not a fan of cats.

Ongoing Health

Rango arrived with numerous open wounds, ticks, and severely damaged skin. He has received treatment and is now feeling much better.

Training & Support

Rango is a survivor who has been through a lot. He is a total love bug and will likely continue to blossom with consistent affection and a stable environment.
