Chip

Chip is a handsome 5-month-old Retriever mix with a stunning black, shimmery, wavy coat and a sweet, pudgy white nose. He currently weighs about 45 pounds and is estimated to reach around 70 pounds. Chip is a fun-loving guy who enjoys playing with other dogs, especially larger canine companions who can help him learn good manners, though this isn't a requirement. He's great at entertaining himself with toys and loves to show them who's boss! Chip is also a social butterfly who enjoys meeting new people. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and even enjoys sleeping at the foot of the bed as a cozy companion. Chip walks well on a leash and looks forward to his neighborhood strolls. This goofy pup will bring endless joy and smiles to your life, offering loving head-rests on your lap during quiet evenings.

Ideal Home

Chip would do well with an adult dog sibling who can help him learn good manners. Young children may not be the best fit unless adults are prepared to set clear boundaries for both Chip and the children.

Chip is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Chip is house- and crate-trained and walks well on a leash. He is a playful dog who benefits from gentle guidance from adult dog companions.
