Dayna is a gorgeous foxhound with beautiful eyes and a sweet and playful personality. She is 2 years old, about 40 pounds, and good with cats and dogs. Dayna can be quite a silly girl and very independent. Her ideal home would provide her with plenty of exercise, preferably in the great outdoors. She is very food-driven, so you can get her to do most anything once she realizes you are a source of treats. A fenced yard would be a plus, but her true love is nature and going for walks, where she can't wait to meet new people and dogs, splash in the stream, and search for deer or fox. She walks fairly well on a leash but will pull if she sees or smells a deer or fox, true to her breed. She enjoys getting in the car and traveling with her humans wherever they go. Dayna would love to be your best friend, greet you at the door, take adventures together, and curl up on the couch afterwards. She enjoys being petted on her head and chin. So if you're looking for a sweet energetic K9 companion for walking, Dayna is your girl. Dayna is coming from a shelter in North Carolina and she is sweet as can be.
