Delta is a 2-year-old spayed female, approximately 7 kg (~15 lbs), with a gentle and sensitive personality and a lower energy level. She was rescued from the Andong wildfire area in South Korea and has shown herself to be incredibly sweet and emotionally soft. Delta quietly becomes deeply important to those around her, genuinely seeking connection. Watching her relax, trust, and feel safe creates a deeply meaningful, earned bond.
Ideal Home
Delta would thrive in a calm and stable household with patient adopters who understand sensitive dogs and enjoy walks and outdoor time. She needs a family committed to consistency and emotional safety, willing to build trust gradually. Loud or chaotic households, homes with frequent sudden noises, families who are gone for extremely long hours daily, or people expecting an instantly confident or highly outgoing dog would not be ideal. Homes highly sensitive to shedding are also not a good fit.
Ongoing Health
Delta is healthy overall and slightly lean. She requires flea, tick, and heartworm prevention to be continued every first day of each month, year-round.
Training & Support
Delta is food-motivated and enjoys nose work activities. She is 100% outdoor potty trained but pulls strongly at the start of walks due to excitement. She startles easily at sudden loud sounds or unfamiliar people and may freeze or move away when frightened. Her foster recommends using both a harness and collar during the adjustment period and gradually building confidence around environmental noise. At home, she shows no destructive behavior or chewing issues and no separation anxiety. She rarely barks, only occasionally with excitement before walks or when correcting another dog.
