Ongoing Health
Jillybean was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and tested positive for heartworms. Due to her small size, she is undergoing the slow-kill method for heartworm treatment, which requires a commitment to monthly medication without interruption. Maintaining a healthy weight is crucial for her hip dysplasia; adopters must ensure she doesn't become overweight or too thin. While she previously favored her back legs, she is now strong and shows no limping. Future FHO surgery for her hips may be beneficial, but it is not needed at this time.
Training & Support
Jillybean can be a bit of a security guard when new people arrive, sometimes nipping at ankles to establish her dominance. Once she trusts you, she'll have you under her spell with her undeniable charm. She is housebroken and loves to sleep in the bed.
