Meet Hachi!
Hachi's story is one of incredible resilience and an unwavering capacity for love. For most of his life, he lived in an outdoor kennel, rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite never knowing what true love felt like, Hachi's heart remained soft and gentle. He greets every day with a wagging tail and a genuine affection for people. Hachi is a true people-person, wonderful with children, and loves making new friends. He cherishes the simple things many dogs take for granted, like belly rubs, a cozy bed, and quality time with his family. After sleeping on wooden slats for years, he now treasures his own dog bed and a warm home. Hachi is crate trained, potty trained, and ready to settle into a loving home of his own. He's estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs about 50 lbs. He's still working on gaining weight, with an ideal weight closer to 60 lbs, so extra treats will be welcome! Hachi is a medium-energy dog, always up for an adventure but equally happy to relax with you. He's looking for a home where he's included, cherished, and loved, a place where he can finally forget his past.
