Vanna

Meet Vanna, an approximately 4-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her personality! Vanna is a devoted "velcro dog" who thrives on being close to her people, offering endless affection and loyalty. She loves a good game of fetch and enjoys adventures, making her a fantastic companion for an active lifestyle. Vanna is also a calm presence at home, trusted to free roam and content to simply be near her favorite humans.

Ideal Home

Vanna would do best in an active home where she can enjoy playtime and walks. She is happiest as the only dog in the home, though she may do well with very large, well-matched canine companions if there are no resource guarding concerns. She has shown to be good with dog-savvy cats. Vanna can be reserved with new people but warms up with time and would likely do well with older children (12+) who can respect her space.

Vanna is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Vanna is working through some challenges and would benefit from continued training and support. She has some resource guarding issues with food, toys, and people, and will need ongoing work on leash manners. While she is crate trained and mostly potty trained, occasional accidents may still happen. With patience and consistency, Vanna has tremendous potential to continue growing and learning.

Vanna is currently located in Texas and can be transported to approved adopters in the Northeast via our transport service.
