CYRUS

Meet Cyrus, a resilient and loving 65lb dog currently in foster care. Cyrus has overcome a lot, arriving at our shelter severely emaciated and in need of significant medical attention. His tail was amputated due to an injury, and he has since undergone extensive veterinary care, medications, and a lot of love to help him heal and thrive. While he once found a temporary home, his adopters realized they couldn't manage his ongoing medical needs and separation anxiety, leading to his return. Cyrus is happiest when he's close to his people, offering a loyal and affectionate companionship. He still requires medication as part of his recovery, and his resilience is truly inspiring. Cyrus is looking for a patient and devoted family who won't give up on him.

Ideal Home

Cyrus thrives when he's close to his people and needs a family willing to help him through the next chapter of his healing. A medical foster would also be an incredible gift for Cyrus during his recovery.

Cyrus is still on medication as he continues to recover from past medical issues.

Training & Support

Cyrus experiences separation anxiety and will need a family prepared to support him with this.
