Panda the perfect doggy pal

Panda is a shy but sweet boy who loves to snuggle and is looking for a patient adopter to help him blossom. He enjoys toys, chew bones, and daily walks, and thrives on routine. Panda is estimated to be two years old and weighs around 50 pounds. He’s a Pittie mix with a mellow nature, named for his black and white coat. He previously lived with children aged 5 and up and did well with them, but would do best in a home with respectful and sweet children.

Ideal Home

Panda would do best in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home. He needs to be in a home with at least one other dog, preferably a playful female dog, as he draws a lot of confidence from other canine companions. He is not recommended for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Panda has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Panda is house-trained and kennel-trained. He walks well on a leash and is a seasoned professional passenger in the car. He will need a patient adopter who will allow him a full decompression period. Our behavior team and his foster mom will be available to provide support.

Transportation

Panda is currently in Texas and can be transported to various states via our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. Transport is available to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT).
