Mary

Meet Mary, a sweet girl with a heart of gold who has overcome a difficult past. She was unfortunately a victim of abuse, which means she can be a little shy and takes time to build trust with new people. However, with patience and love, her true personality shines through! Mary has made incredible progress in her foster home and now enjoys the company of a pack of eight dogs, showing she can be a great companion. She's a challenge worth taking on for the right person, and the reward is a loyal and loving companion.

Ideal Home

Mary needs an experienced handler who understands the needs of a dog who has a history of trauma. A securely fenced-in yard is a must for her to feel safe and comfortable exploring. While she enjoys the company of other dogs and does well with them, she's also happy to be the sole canine companion in a home.

Ongoing Health

Mary is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, ensuring she's ready for a healthy life with her forever family.

Training & Support

Mary is a survivor and continues to grow and learn. Her progress in socialization with other dogs is remarkable, but she will still need an understanding adopter to help her continue to build confidence with new people and situations.

Transportation

Mary is currently in Puerto Rico. Once adopted, she will be flown to Newark, NJ, where you will meet her for pickup.
