Blake

Blake is a stunning, large, handsome, and smart Shepherd mix who is sure to turn heads! He's a friendly boy who enjoys strolls on the leash with his humans and is happy to greet new people. Blake also loves his squeaky toys and will happily engage in some play sessions.

Ideal Home

Blake can be a little grabby with his snacks and treats when he gets excited. He also gets amped up and reactive when seeing dogs on his walks, and when allowed to get closer, he tries to herd and nip them. For these reasons, Blake will likely do best as an only pet and is not a good fit for homes with cats. His interactions with children are unknown. If he were to have a dog sibling, it would need to be a large, calm dog with a very slow and monitored introduction.

Blake is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Blake can be a little grabby with his snacks and treats and gets excited. He also displays reactivity and herding/nipping behaviors towards other dogs on walks. Careful management and training will be needed to help him succeed.
