Meryl is a beautiful, approximately 65-pound, almost 4 year old mixed-breed girl (likely with some Foxhound/Beagle in her) who brings the perfect balance of calm companionship and playful energy. Inside the home, Meryl is a relaxed, low-key sweetheart. She is fully house-trained, well-mannered, and knows her basic commands—sit, stay, come, and lie down. She enjoys lounging on the couch with her people, happily chewing on her favorite bones as part of her cozy nightly routine. Outside is where Meryl truly shines. She loves being outdoors—running, playing, and exploring. She especially enjoys walks and thrives when she has space to stretch her legs. At the dog park, she loves being off-leash and will happily chase a ball! Meryl is a loyal, affectionate companion who loves deeply and bonds closely with her people. She is looking for a home where she has room to play, have fun, and provide wonderful companionship. Ideal Home

Meryl would do best in a home without very young children, as she has shown some discomfort around toddlers. She would also benefit from a secure, visible, above-ground fence to ensure her safety while she enjoys her time outdoors.

Ongoing Health

Meryl’s adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, DAPp vaccination, and a heartworm test.

Training & Support

Meryl is still working on reliably bringing back a ball when playing fetch. She can be selective with other dogs, especially on leash. Due to a past incident involving a dog fight, she would benefit from a dog-savvy owner who can continue working on her socialization and provide guidance.
