Dagger is a 6.5-month-old spayed female Retriever/Pit Bull mix, weighing 40 pounds and expected to be a large dog when fully grown. She was rescued with her littermates and mother from a rural area outside of Houston, Texas. Dagger is a confident and affectionate puppy who is past the "shark-puppy" stage and now offers sweet love nibbles. She is potty trained and a delightful mix of playful energy and cuddle bug. Dagger is known for being an escape artist, so future families should be aware! She is friendly with strangers, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has done well with children.

Ideal Home

Dagger would thrive in a home with another friendly, well-mannered dog to help guide her. Homes without another dog will need a proactive plan for continued socialization and canine interaction. Because she is still young, homes where someone isn't routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time are preferred.
