Adopted. Cody

Meet Cody, a handsome 27 lb purebred black and tan Cavalier born on November 7, 2024. Cody is a happy, friendly, and social guy who loves to be by your side. He gets along wonderfully with cats, kids, and other dogs, and he doesn't cause any trouble. Cody is a chill companion with good leash manners, and he'll even show off his "sit" command when he feels like it. He was originally kept as a farm dog by a breeder who went out of business, and he's now ready for a home where he can be a cherished pet.

Ideal Home

Cody would thrive in a loving home where he can receive plenty of attention. Any upcoming vacations should be completed before adoption, as he'll need time to settle in.

Ongoing Health

Cody arrived with some thin hair on his back and a few scrapes, likely from his farm dog days. These have since healed or are healing, and his hair is growing back in nicely. He recently underwent neutering and is currently wearing a cone and taking antibiotics to ensure proper healing. All his vet paperwork, including vaccination records and preventative care, will go home with him. He has been neutered, vaccinated for parvo and distemper, received a rabies vaccination, and is up-to-date on Frontline and heartworm prevention. He has also been fecal tested (clear), heartworm tested (negative), and had his teeth cleaned and ear infections treated. His heart and knees are in good condition.

Training & Support

Cody is crate trained and settles quietly in his crate. He is also house-trained.

Transportation

Cody is located in Antwerp, Ohio. Transportation is available every other Wednesday to Maumee if needed.
