SugarPlum

SugarPlum is a delightful pup from the Nutcracker Suite litter! She sports a lovely whitish-biscuit coat, reminiscent of her Komondor dad, but with the smooth texture of her Anatolian Shepherd mom, Sasha. Growing up, SugarPlum had a fantastic introduction to a wide variety of animals, including chickens, ducks, geese, goats, dogs, and barn cats. She's even had some experience living part-time with our Nigerian Dwarf goats here at Bluebonnet, as well as time spent indoors. She currently weighs about 74 lbs and is expected to maintain a healthy adult weight around that mark.

Ideal Home

SugarPlum is playful with other dogs and seems to particularly enjoy the company of adult dogs who share a similar look to her. She settles down nicely when she receives attention and petting from people, and she's a quick learner when it comes to sitting for a treat. We believe SugarPlum would make a wonderful family pet, or perhaps thrive on a small homestead where she could be a trusted companion around livestock, with proper introductions and supervision, while being primarily a beloved pet rather than a full-time guardian.
