Humphrey

Meet Humphrey! This handsome 4-year-old, 85-pound goofball is a wonderful mix of Pit Bull, German Shepherd, Labrador, and Border Collie. Humphrey is a smart, loyal, and strong-willed companion who forms deep connections with his people. He thrives with structure and routine, and he’s already mastered potty training and knows his basic commands, showing a genuine eagerness to please. Humphrey recently completed the Coffeewood Canines Training Program and is back, ready to find his perfect match.

Ideal Home

Humphrey does best with clear expectations and a predictable environment. He’s become more sensitive around other dogs recently, so he would do best as the only dog in the home, or with slow, thoughtful introductions to any resident dogs. He’s looking for a patient handler who can provide a low-pressure setting to help him continue building confidence.

Ongoing Health

Humphrey has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested, is current on vaccines, and is on monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Humphrey is potty trained and knows his basic commands. He is continuing to build confidence and will benefit from a handler who understands how to support a dog working through new sensitivities. He bonds deeply and looks to his humans for guidance, truly shining when he feels safe and understood.
