Bear is a 7-pound male Yorkshire Terrier who is 8 years young and ready to find his safe, happy forever home. He's a tiny little boy who just wants to be your shadow. Bear loves snuggling up close, giving sweet kisses, and relaxing beside you while you watch TV. He's playful too, but his favorite place is right next to his person. He just wants to feel safe, loved, and part of your world. Bear has a gentle, loving personality and thrives in a calm, predictable environment. He is about 90% potty trained and continues to do well with consistency and routine. He is crate trained but would much prefer being out with his people. Bear is truly a velcro dog who just wants to be near you. He previously lived in a home with a young child and unfortunately had some negative experiences that have left him fearful of small children. He does well with cats and other dogs and enjoys playtime, but he's just as happy curling up for a cozy evening. Bear would be an ideal companion for a retired individual or couple, or someone who is home often and looking for a loyal sidekick. He also makes a wonderful travel companion thanks to his small size and easygoing nature and of course, he loves to ride. Bear deserves a peaceful home with minimal chaos where he can settle into a steady routine. In return, he'll give you endless affection, companionship, and those irresistible little Yorkie kisses.
Ideal Home
Bear will need a home without young children where he can feel secure and relaxed. He would do best with older, mature children who are respectful of dogs. He would be an ideal companion for a retired individual or couple, or someone who is home often.

Bear is about 90% potty trained and continues to do well with consistency and routine. He is crate trained, though he prefers to be with his people.
