Lilly

Lilly is a sweet, gentle, and finally safe 3-month-old puppy who will grow into a smaller Lab type girl. She is mostly white with soft touches of gold in her coat, and her tail never stops wagging. She’s a happy, gentle baby who loves people and loves playing with other dogs. Lilly was found as a stray, and when she arrived, she had lots of bug bites, and her fur is still thin in places from the irritation. Even after everything she went through, she remains sweet, trusting, and full of joy.

Ideal Home

A fenced-in backyard is required for all puppies. An adult who is home during the day and able to devote consistent time to a puppy. No crating for puppies — use a puppy pen or baby gate for safe confinement.

Ongoing Health

Lilly is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She will not be spayed before adoption. Adopters will sign a spay/neuter agreement and may qualify for a $100 spay/neuter rebate once the procedure is completed. Her fur is still thin in places from irritation due to bug bites, but this is expected to improve.

Training & Support

Lilly does great with other dogs, but she doesn't want any dog near her food — very common for puppies who have gone days without eating before being rescued. She eats politely when fed separately and has no issues with people around her bowl, just dogs. Lilly currently uses a pet door in her foster home to go outside for potty breaks, which helps her understand that potty happens outdoors and makes her transition easier, even if you don't have a pet door. She uses a baby-gated area off the kitchen when she can't be watched, or no one is home.
