Marley Mae is a beautiful brindle girl with human-like eyes and a warm ember coloring that is sure to capture your heart. She's a happy, loving companion with a sweet personality, balancing playful bursts of energy with a cozy, homebody charm. Marley Mae takes a little time to warm up to new people and environments, but once she trusts you, she becomes the most devoted and affectionate shadow. She particularly opens up quickly to women and is a true sweetheart once she's in your circle.
Ideal Home
Marley Mae would thrive in a home with a backyard, in a more residential area, away from the hustle and bustle of city noise. She enjoys a slower-paced environment and appreciates people who share that mindset. While she's done wonderfully with children as young as 5, her initial shyness means a home with 1-2 children would be ideal, allowing her time to adjust.
Ongoing Health
Marley Mae is believed to be around 4 years old and weighs 58 lbs. As a rescue, her exact breed and age are a mystery. She is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Marley Mae has excellent house manners, is not destructive, and is reliably house-trained and crate-trained. She's also a fantastic car rider, even on longer trips. She's a wonderful companion for other dogs, readily sharing toys, affection, and couch space. When meeting new dogs, she's initially shy and would do best with a confident doggy friend to help her explore her new surroundings. She was respectful of the resident cat during her introduction.

Marley Mae is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
