Stewie is a 9-year-old, 55-pound boxer-hound mix who has truly mastered the art of the luxurious lounge. He’s a master of relaxation, often found curled up like a cinnamon roll, but don’t let that fool you! He also has glorious bursts of athleticism, capable of galloping through the woods like he’s training for the hound Olympics. He’s a heat-seeking snuggle bug who thrives in cozy corners and loves soft blankets. Because his fur is minimal, Stewie proudly owns and rocks sweaters, especially when the weather gets a bit chilly. Indoors, he's a dream: he’s potty trained, crate trained, not destructive, and generally happy to just chill. Give him a delicious marrow bone and a sunny window, and he's content for hours.
Stewie absolutely adores people and will greet you with an enthusiastic helicopter tail. He leans into you as if trying to merge with your molecules. He loves kids, adults, strangers, and even the UPS driver! However, Stewie has made it clear that he prefers to be the only pet in the household. He’s ready for a solo gig and is not looking to share his space with other dogs.
Ideal Home
Stewie has a high prey drive and takes his outdoor adventures very seriously, so rodents beware! He would do best in a quiet, country-style home where he can enjoy yard time without unexpected encounters with neighborhood dogs. A secure fence is a must, as he is not subtle when he spots something worth chasing. Stewie also appreciates homes where children are 10 years or older to ensure the best fit for everyone.
