Fred

Meet Fred, a 4-year-old dog who is estimated to weigh around 45lbs when fully grown. Fred is a calm and easygoing boy who prefers to take his time and observe his surroundings. He's not one for rushing into new situations and enjoys a quiet life. Once he feels safe and comfortable, Fred reveals himself to be a gentle, loyal companion who cherishes simply being in the presence of his loved ones. He enjoys relaxing evenings at home, peaceful walks, and the special bond that develops when a dog feels secure enough to open up at his own pace. Fred loves hot dogs and spending time with his favorite people, and he knows cues like "sit," "paw," and "down," and is always eager to learn more. He is housebroken and prefers to roam freely rather than be crated.

Ideal Home

Fred would do best in an adult-only home. He gets along well with dogs who appreciate a calm coexistence and might engage in occasional play. His dislike for fast movements means a quieter, more predictable environment would be ideal for him.

Ongoing Health

Fred is up-to-date on his vaccinations, microchipped, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. His adoption fee includes his spay/neuter surgery, initial distemper vaccines, and rabies vaccine (age-appropriate).

Training & Support

Fred is housebroken and knows several cues, with more training underway. Patience and understanding are key to helping him build confidence and trust.
