Meet Jimi Hendrix!

This handsome Lab Mix, weighing 42lbs and estimated to be born around December 2nd, 2025, is looking for his forever home. Jimi is the ultimate best friend – a perfect blend of cuddle bug, adventure buddy, and comedian. Everyone he meets falls in love with his gorgeous brown and tan coat, sweet soulful eyes, and incredibly gentle nature. He's been described as the gentlest dog ever, turning into a "wet noodle" and melting into your arms when picked up.

Jimi enjoys making new dog friends and playing, but he's also respectful of other dogs' boundaries, politely letting them know if they're too pushy. He's met cats and reptiles and is generally unfazed by them. However, due to a natural prey drive if startled by sudden movements, slow introductions and supervision with smaller animals are recommended.

Ideal Home

Jimi would thrive in a home that appreciates his cuddly nature and playful spirit. While he's generally good with other animals, slow introductions and supervision are recommended for smaller pets due to his prey drive if startled.

Jimi has been vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Jimi is house-trained and crate-trained. He walks wonderfully on a leash without pulling and has a great recall. He's still learning basic commands like "sit" but is eager to learn with positive reinforcement and treats. Like many young dogs, he enjoys exploring with his mouth, so providing plenty of appropriate chew toys will help keep him entertained and out of mischief. He is also eligible for 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days.
