Meet Juliet - a gentle, resilient, and finally safe girl looking for her forever home!
Juliet's journey has been a tough one. She and her companion, Romeo, were found abandoned and chained in a vacant house, with no food, water, or protection. Thankfully, a kind citizen spoke up, and after a judicial approval, they were rescued and brought to us. Juliet arrived terrified and covered in ticks, showing clear signs of past neglect. However, this sweet mama has a heart of gold, and with time, safety, and kindness, she is blossoming into a trusting and gentle companion. She is social and doing well with other dogs. On arrival, she was underweight but is healing beautifully and is now ready for her new adventure!
Ideal Home
Juliet would thrive in a home where she can continue to feel safe and loved, allowing her brave and tender spirit to shine.
Ongoing Health
Juliet arrived underweight but is healing wonderfully and showing great progress.
Training & Support
While Juliet is opening up and showing her gentle spirit, she may need continued patience and understanding as she continues to build her confidence in her new environment.

Transportation
Juliet is located in Puerto Vallarta. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new pup at the airport to welcome them home. During the summer months, it can be challenging to secure Canadian flight companions, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable. Volunteers have successfully helped transport dogs to adopters at the border during the summer.
