Bellona is a 4-month-old Pit Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix who is a bundle of brains, beauty, and best friend material! She's thoughtful and independent but still loves all the fun of being a puppy, like playing with her siblings, chasing toys, and cuddling up for naps. Bellona is observant, eager to learn, and loves attention, but she's also confident enough to entertain herself. She's a natural learner and already knows how to sit, paw, lay down, and stay. She's incredibly food motivated, making training a joy. Bellona is also doing great with potty and crate training and is working on her impulse control around mealtimes. She lives with her siblings and a 7-year-old dog, and she's learning how to interact appropriately with other dogs. She would do best with slow, supervised introductions to cats. Because she can be enthusiastic when greeting, families with young children should be prepared to reinforce polite manners and supervise interactions.
