Sage

Meet Sage, an approximately 18-month to 2-year-old, 50 lb Goldendoodle with a heart as beautiful as her looks. Sage spent a long time surviving on her own, and while she has made incredible progress, she continues to heal at her own pace. She thrives on routine, predictability, and a calm home. Because she is a significant flight risk, Sage will need a very secure home and adopters committed to proper safety protocols. Every milestone she reaches, whether it's a tail wag, a playful zoomie, or choosing to stay close instead of running away, feels incredibly rewarding. Sage absolutely loves other dogs and would do best with a confident canine companion who can help her continue building confidence. As she settles in, we're even starting to see her silly side emerge, from harmless kitchen "shopping" to curious little adventures that remind us she's finally learning how to just be a dog. Sage doesn't need someone to fix her. She needs someone who will accept her exactly as she is and celebrate every small victory along the way. If you're looking for a companion whose trust will be earned and whose progress will be deeply meaningful, Sage just might be your perfect match.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions are noted, but her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, shots up to date, micro-chip, fecal, and vet check.

Training & Support

Sage is still learning that the world can be a safe place and sudden movements and everyday sounds can still frighten her. She needs adopters with patience and compassion.
