Mama Sushi

Sweet, steady, and full of quiet affection, Sushi is the heart of the family. She's the kind of dog who watches over everyone, leans in for pets, and appreciates the simple joys: soft beds, kind humans, and a safe place to belong. At around 50 lbs, she's the perfect medium-sized companion for walks, road trips, and cozy evenings at home.

Mama Sushi is a loyal love with the alert smarts of a cattle dog mix and the sweet heart of a lab. She raised her babies like a pro after a rough start, and now this spotted squad is ready to trade survival mode for couch naps, squeaky toys, and forever families.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
