Panda the perfect doggy pal

Panda is a shy but sweet boy who just loves to hang out with his favorite chew toy. He's estimated to be two years old and weighs about 50 pounds, likely a Pittie mix. He's affectionately named for his black and white markings and his mellow personality. Panda loves toys, bones, and his daily walks, and he thrives on a predictable routine. He's also a professional when it comes to car rides and is happy to relax in the backseat. At night, he loves to snuggle up with his humans or find a comfy spot on the couch. He is kennel and house-trained.

Ideal Home

Panda would do best in a quiet, suburban or rural home. He thrives in the company of other dogs, especially playful females, and we hope he will be one of multiple dogs in your home. He previously lived with children aged 5 and up and did well, but they must be respectful and sweet with him. He is not recommended for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Panda is a rescue dog and will need a patient adopter to allow him a full decompression period. Our behavior team and his foster mom are available to provide support and guidance during this time.

Training & Support

Panda bonds with his people through walks and is great on leash. He's also happy to settle in the car for rides.

Transporation

Panda is located in Texas and can be transported to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT).
