Meet Mctavish Shelties. Hey! I am Esther and I'm located in South East Wisconsin (about half an hour west of Milwaukee) and I breed Shetland Sheepdogs. When ever i got my first Sheltie in 2021 I didn't realize I would come to love this breed so much! They have there quirks like barking at the shadows which supposedly are coming to get you and trying to herd you but beside that they are some of the loyalist buddies you will ever find (they are seasonal shedders so their will be a lot of fur which means you need to brush and trim them in order to keep that to a minimum! So if you aren't a fan of fur it may be, unfortunately that this isn't the breed for you) My Shelties are raised on a farm, so I have goats, chickens and they are around other dogs and since I live with my family I have lots of nieces and nephews who love to visit the puppies! My family's business is beekeeping so that means these dogs are around bees as well although we all keep our distance from the buzzing insects. My goal with breeding Shelties is to create some of the best family farm dogs as I can, to me it is so important and special to have dogs because they just make your world (and farm chores) complete! And there is no way to explain the happiness of having a little fluffy companion who follows you to milk the goats and feed chickens, or to watch them take off running into the pasture after birds in the sky which might I add they will probably never catch(: I hope this helps you understand me as a breeder a little better and whether you choose me or not I hope you can find a new Sheltie addition for your family!
