Meet China! This total sweetheart has a big heart and an even bigger personality. She forms instant bonds with new friends and has the most joyful, affectionate spirit. Around here, she’s known as a bit of a flirt, especially with her best buddy Monty. We lovingly call them the lovebirds. China absolutely loves playing with other dogs. She greets her pals with a happy tail wag and an irresistible bounce, like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. Her playful energy lights up the yard as she runs, jumps, and spreads joy everywhere she goes. She has played beautifully with dogs her size, slightly smaller friends, and even a giant Great Dane. She has no issues meeting new dogs and is all wagging tail and excitement when she sees them on leash. Even better, she knows how to read the room and respects when another dog is ready to take a break. When playtime is over, China happily settles down to recharge. She is leash trained and walks calmly, only pulling occasionally when she gets excited, but she responds easily to correction. She is fully house trained and does well in her crate overnight and during midday rest time. China is affectionate to her core. She loves cuddling on the couch like a big, snuggly house hippo and sleeps with her stuffed animals and a pillow. She is wonderful with people, greeting strangers with immediate love and enthusiasm. She rides well in the car and enjoys the adventure. She is smart and food motivated, making her a quick learner who would thrive with continued training. She understands both English and Spanish, which makes her a truly bilingual beauty. China would do wonderfully in a dog-loving home that spoils their pups like family. She would thrive with another dog to play with but could also be happy as the center of attention in a loving home that gives her plenty of exercise and affection. China is playful, loyal, affectionate, and ready to bring laughter and love to her forever family.
