Squirt is a delightful 4-5-year-old Chiweenie (Dachshund/Chihuahua mix) with a truly unique look and striking golden eyes. She came into foster care as an emergency placement and, sadly, was never reclaimed. After her best friend, a pittie companion, passed away, Squirt has continued to shine with her sweet and resilient spirit. Despite her small size, she has a big personality, is playful and confident, and enjoys interacting with dogs of all sizes. While her feelings about cats are unknown, she would likely thrive in a loving family with children aged 4 and up who can play with her. She would also make a wonderful and loyal companion for an older adult. Squirt is housebroken and walks nicely on a leash once she gets past her initial outdoor excitement. She is currently working on crate training and settles down fairly quickly. Her favorite things include being with her people, playing outside, and taking cozy naps in the sun. Squirt is a lively dog with a lot of character and heart, ready to find her forever home.
