Foxy is a sweet, beautiful little sweetheart, about 40 lbs, who loves to play. If your dog is looking for a friend, she's your girl! She loves stuffy toys, playing tug-of-war with a rope, and playing fetch (although she's still learning to bring it back!). Foxy is very intelligent and learns quickly. She is very shy with new people, but if you're patient and give her treats, you'll be all set. Foxy has been living in a foster home with large and small dogs, two school-aged children, and a large, confident cat, and she's doing great! Foxy was found by one of our rescue volunteers in a trap! Her other dog friends were waiting with her and very concerned. The whole group was taken in by our rescue and they are getting training to be the best pups they can be. Foxy does well in the car, sleeps well in her crate at night, and knows to potty outside. She is great on leash and loves to go for walks. She's coming out of her shell, and once she trusts you, you'll be best friends. Will you show her what a real family is like?
Ideal Home
Foxy is doing great with other dogs, cats, and school-aged children, but she can be shy with new people. Patience and treats will help her warm up.
Ongoing Health
All of Foxy's vetting is up to date, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and testing for heartworm and tick diseases.
Training & Support
Foxy is still learning to bring the ball back during fetch. She is shy with new people but warms up with patience and treats.
