Bullseye is a 6.5-month-old male Retriever/Pit Bull mix with an estimated DOB of January 2026. He currently weighs 40 pounds and is expected to be a large dog when fully grown. Bullseye is the quiet observer of his litter, preferring to take things in before joining the fun. He loves dinnertime, belly rubs, scratches, and snuggling, but also enjoys romping with his siblings. This gentle, thoughtful boy has a calm presence that's sure to win you over. He's a loyal companion with a soft heart and an easygoing personality. Bullseye is potty-trained and enjoys playing with other dogs. He has also been introduced to a crate and is working on leash walking and basic obedience.
Ideal Home
Bullseye would thrive in a home with a resident dog who can act as a mentor, as he learns from canine role models. If you don't currently have another dog, please provide a plan for ongoing socialization. Homes where someone is not routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time are preferred.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned.
Training & Support
Bullseye is potty-trained, but some accidents may occur as he adjusts to a new routine. He is continuing to build confidence with leash walking and basic obedience. Ongoing positive reinforcement, consistency, and continued leash practice will help him thrive. Continued socialization with new people, places, sounds, and friendly dogs is important for building lifelong confidence.
