TIMMY

Timmy is a 7-year-old male Catahoula mix with a heart full of energy and a shy spirit that blossoms with a little patience. He's a TLC (Tender Loving Care) dog, which means he comes with extra support, including a session with a professional behaviorist to help him settle into his new home. Timmy is good with people and warms up quickly to women, though he can be a bit slower to trust men. He's still learning the ropes of house training and has occasional accidents, so a patient owner is key. This energetic boy is still very puppyish and needs plenty of exercise and opportunities to socialize. He's not suited for apartment living due to his tendency to bark.

Ideal Home

Timmy needs a home that can provide him with plenty of exercise, patience, and understanding as he settles in and works on his socialization. He's not a good fit for apartments because he barks. We are unsure how he would do with children or cats.

Ongoing Health

Timmy is part of our TLC program, which includes a session with a professional behaviorist to aid in his transition to a new home.

Training & Support

Timmy is basic potty trained but still has occasional accidents. He is shy when first meeting people and will need ongoing socialization. As a TLC dog, he will receive support from a behaviorist.
