LACEY

Lacey is a sweet 7-year-old spayed female Labrador Retriever mix who has been a wonderful companion to our staff. She was surrendered by her previous owner and is now looking for a patient and understanding home where she can truly decompress and adjust to her new surroundings. Lacey knows a few commands and absolutely loves her time playing outside. While she hasn't shown much interest in toys or treats, her love for the outdoors is undeniable!

Ideal Home

Lacey would do best in a home without small children. If you have another dog or older (teen+) children, a meet-and-greet is required to ensure everyone gets along.

Ongoing Health

Lacey is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Lacey is still adjusting and will need a patient adopter to help her settle in. She's not very motivated by treats and hasn't shown much interest in toys, but her love for outdoor play is a great starting point!

• Adoption hours are Monday-Friday 11:00 AM - 3:30 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM.
• Meet and greets are required if you have another dog or older (teen+) kids at home.

Transporation

Lacey is located at New Hanover County Sheriff Animal Services Unit, 180 Division Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401. Transportation may be available to approved adopters.
