Sam

Sam is an incredibly sweet 6-year-old Blue Heeler mix boy who is patiently waiting for his new person after his owner passed away. He is house trained, crate trained, neutered, and leash trained. Sam is very polite and well-mannered around the resident cat, and gets along with the two big dogs at his foster home, including a puppy. He also loves the two boys in the home, ages 6 and 9. Sam would be happy sitting in your lap all day getting belly rubs, but he also loves being outside and going on walks. His favorite midday activity, other than napping, is sunbathing on the patio. Sam adores people and could easily be the only dog in the household, but would also thrive in a family environment. He is very low maintenance and would be fine living in a condo or apartment. At about 30 pounds, he's a great size for any living situation.

Ideal Home

Sam would be happy in a variety of homes, whether he's the only dog or in a family environment. He's also a great fit for apartment or condo living.
