Coco is the ultimate velcro dog, a professional cuddle consultant who lives for her humans. She's a 50-pound German Shepherd mix with a shimmering silver sable coat and a heart as big as her size. Coco loves to be by your side, whether you're working, cooking, or napping. She enjoys outdoor adventures but is also a world-class lounger who takes hanging out very seriously. She's smart, eager to learn, and a total foodie, making training sessions a delight, especially when treats are involved! Coco is a leash-walking pro and a kiss-giving enthusiast, ready to be your loyal sidekick.

Ideal Home

Coco would thrive in a home with plenty of sunshine and people. As she has a vocal Shepherd personality, she's looking for a house rather than an apartment. An active family familiar with the loyal and intelligent nature of the Shepherd breed would be a great match.

Ongoing Health

Coco is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She also receives a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative and has been tested for heartworm.

Training & Support

Coco is still learning how to socialize with other dogs but is making great progress. While she isn't quite sure about toys or zoomies, she shows interest in squeaky toys. She is a polite girl who respects boundaries. She's a leash-walking pro and an enthusiastic kiss-giver.

Transportation

Coco is located in Texas. Transport is available nationwide through their rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
